Luckily I’ve been fortunate to stay pretty busy these past couple of weeks but yesterday, well…let’s just say that I was going a little stir crazy. So I asked myself, “Allison, what do people want to see right now?” And what came to my mind was that you want to see things that are beautiful and that make you feel good. That led me driving to Beaufort and taking photos from my car. No one called the police on me — so that’s a win! I hope this jogs your memory of where we live and the beauty of it all. Enjoy!

I think we are all looking for something to do that will have us feel some sense of normalcy. If you love going to museums, there’s a tool for that. If you love live music, there are websites for that. If you miss going to the zoo, there are live web cams for that. When it comes to #HouseGoals, Farnsleigh Avenue wins! “Why?” — you ask? Where do I even begin…

  • not even 2 years old

  • the hardwood floors are so pretty

The stigma that has been historically associated with a home's "days on market," as it relates to home sales is soon to be a thing of the past.

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time you know that the real estate business is not really about selling houses. It’s about building and maintaining relationships. Of course, we facilitate the buying and selling of houses, but without the human interaction, none of that can happen.

I read this recently and I think it’s a great idea. I’m going to call it the 5 - 5 - 5 -5 rule. I know it’s a little wordy but stay with me!

Make 5 calls, send 5 emails, send 5 texts, and mail 5 thank you cards each day.

Set aside some time to make five phone calls every day. These can be clients, friends, family members, ANYONE. Talk to them about what’s going on in their lives, tell them about your new normal, and of course, chat about the real estate…

I don’t even know where to begin with this tall drink of water! “Shelter-at-home” never looked so good. Would you even know you were quarantined if you had this backyard? I don’t think so.
