It turns out, millennials aren’t the renter generation after all. The 2022 Consumer Insights Report from Mynd says there’s a portion of millennial and Gen Z buyers who are pursuing homeownership as a way to build their wealth, but it may not be exactly the way previous generations have done it. The study explains how they’re breaking into the market:

“. . . younger generations of Americans are not buying into that dream in the same way that older generations have. A growing number of Americans are choosing to make their first real estate purchase as an investment property.”

We are just about 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving, and for many of you, that means - company. How many of you always say you're going to plan ahead and then you get too overwhelmed and you don't? (Secretly raising my hand!) I found this great blog post that gives you tips on preparing for company and gives great recipes for meal planning. I work so much better if I have a checklist. It takes all the guesswork out of the time that I would rather be with family and friends. Hopefully this will help you too.

Caramel Apple Dip

Only 4 Ingredients!

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 ounce block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 16 ounce container of caramel dip or thick caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Place the cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the sugar and beat until thoroughly combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture into an even layer in a 3 cup serving dish. 
  • Pour the caramel dip or sauce over the cream cheese mixture. Spread into an even layer. Top with toffee bits and serve with sliced apples. Serve at room temperature.
