It's back! This race that benefits The Outside Foundation is back again and it's better than ever. New events have been added, and it's been extended to all weekend long. 

Saturday's events are being held at the Rowing and Sailing Center at Squire Pope Community Park. All levels of paddlers are welcome. 

Even if you are not participating, stop by the race and watch. It's a fun event, and the energy is infectious!

Around Town

I've been waiting to hear the reviews from locals and so far I've heard only great things. 

If you haven't heard already, the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island is featuring Rock of Ages now through August 14th. This crazy fun, 80s music performance has been nominated for five Tony awards. The story line and music are alive and electric.

Beat the heat at Oscar Frazier Park in Bluffton this Saturday, July 16th from 10am - 1pm.

The Town of Bluffton is hosting an event to get the family out of the house and stay cool at the same time. They will have waterslides, video games on the Jumbotron, lawn games, a DJ, concessions for purchase, and fun prizes.

Start your Independence Day off right with a 5K run or walk at beautiful Jarvis Creek Park on Hilton Head Island. 

It is the largest and oldest race in all of Beaufort County. Locals and tourists alike LOVE this race. 

Enjoy BBQ, beer, and music at the finish line! The race starts at 8am on July 4th.

The Town of Bluffton will be hosting big things to celebrate Independence Day!

If you're looking for a fireworks show this weekend, look no further! This event sounds like it Is going to be the best around. 

5:00pm-9:00pm: Activities will begin at Martin Family and DuBois Parks, Lowcountry Boil Bluegrass Band will be performing and include kid participation. There will be games, bounce houses, rock wall, and concessions scattered between the two parks.

9:00pm: Head to Oyster Factory and Wright Family Parks to view the fireworks. They will be launched from the May River.
