One of the wonderful things about where we live is the ability to get to fun places in a short amount of time. We are able to take day trips to so many great cities. Today we are featuring one of our favorite day trip (okay...sometimes we stay overnight) places ― Jacksonville. In just 2-1/2 hours you can get to another great coastal city with lots of different shopping and dining experiences. If you're looking for an excuse to go, we've got one for you. It is a funky little place with great burgers and atmosphere. You'll definitely get a little history lesson on Edgar Allen Poe. The staff are fantastic and will definitely take care of you. I was recently listening to a podcast, of an interview with Darius Rucker, and he too said this is one of his favorite places to eat in the Charleston area.
Fall is the perfect time to take a little road trip and enjoy the weather and try new places to eat.
