This week’s crush is stunning! I just had to show it to you because…well…you’ll see. I don’t even know where to begin. If you’ve ever driven over the Cross Island bridge, you’ve probably noticed this beauty at the marina entrance to Wexford.

For starters:

  • 8 bedrooms and 15 baths and over 18,000 SF

  • there is a main house and guest house — both waterfront (you don’t want your guests to suffer!!)

  • the driveway is one of my favorite details

Why is this my pick this week? — 33 Waterfowl Road is the 2014 Southern Living Idea House. Enough said.

But…in case you’re picky and want more:

  • look at the architecture!!!!!!!

  • the mix of textures and all the design lines are complete perfection

  • I can’t get enough of looking at all the details…they go on for days

  • brick, hardwood, coffered ceilings ????

  • 4 bedrooms, 5 baths and over 3,700 SF

  • the sloped handrail, glass walkway, and screened porch arched windows are dynamite

  • an outside fireplace for fall nights

  • oh - and - it’s in Palmetto Bluff ;)

I cannot wait to see what the new homeowners do with this amazing home and property! I can envision so many grand things. From horse stables to a magnificent in-ground pool to a formal ballroom…. The possibilities are endless! Although they may be too busy taking advantage of Rose Hill’s amenities to start any new projects. They should just wait until the fall!

When it comes to #HouseGoals, Farnsleigh Avenue wins! “Why?” — you ask? Where do I even begin…
