Experience matters! Having a Realtor that shares all of their accomplishments and victories is impressive but what you really want is a Realtor that always has your best interests in mind. Just hearing that your Realtor is the “best” is not always the best for you. You need a Realtor that makes you feel like you are #1. You want someone with an arsenal of tools to solve every problem that comes along. You need a Realtor that has a team behind them of trustworthy inspectors, contractors, and attorneys.
Listen to what other industry leaders and vendors say about the Realtor you are interviewing to help you with your transaction. These are the folks in the trenches that know all the local players. Integrity, trust, and dedication go a long way. You want a Realtor that does what they say they are going to do and walks with you from start to finish. You want a Realtor that doesn’t fade away when times get tough and can creatively come up with solutions that protect you while benefiting everyone. You want a Realtor that listens. Your Realtor needs to remember that they work for you and they are an agent in the sale or purchase of your home. A Realtor should never forget that you are in the driver’s seat. You need a Realtor that is experienced enough to make suggestions that help push the transaction forward in a way that makes sense for all parties but especially for you.
Allison Cobb, David Hussey, and Natalie Burnside with The Cobb Group and Charter One Realty have this experience. We walk the walk and talk the talk. We have seen a lot, and if we don’t have the answer, we’ll find it. We work with seasoned qualified vendors that keep the transaction moving ahead. We have the right people backing us to get you the best solutions, top price, or your dream home.
Remember that experience makes the difference in selling or buying what is often your biggest investment. Choose a Realtor with longevity and time on their side. High integrity is the secret sauce. Do your homework when you hear “the best” and make sure “the best” is what is best for you.
