It is that time of year again! With beaches and pools opening up and warm weather already here, we know you’re planning your next trip. We absolutely love our Hilton Head Island beaches. Here are a few things that we have personally used or they have been recommended to us.
Icemule
This one is actually a favorite of mine. It’s perfect for the beach, pool, and boat. There are no zippers to mess with, just fold the top and go. It will definitely keep your stuff cold. It is sand and waterproof, but the best part is that it floats. You can find it here.
Speaker
The next thing you need is a good speaker! Tunes are a must at the beach. There are so many great inexpensive waterproof speakers out there. All you have to do is head to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s, and you can find lots of options.
Protective Case
You can’t forget your phone bag! Yowza. You definitely don’t want sand in your phone. No one likes that! You can easily find these also at TJ Maxx, Target, Marshall’s, etc.
Sharkbanz
Truth be told, I have one of these and have never used it BUT I do have some friends that have them and they wear them. You can learn more about the technology and purchase them here.
CGear Beach Blanket
Next we’re going to show you a couple different towels. This one I haven’t used, but it looks amazing. It’s a CGear beach blanket. It’s super absorbent, and the sand goes right through so it doesn’t stay on top and stick to you. They have blankets, towels, and bags made from the same material. Wouldn’t it be so nice to sit on a blanket not full of sand? You can find them on Amazon.
Sand Cloud Beach Towel
Now…Sand Cloud towels…they are a thing. They are so nice. I have one, and it is the nicest towel I own. They are a little more expensive, but it’s worth it. The quality and material are awesome. You can find them on Amazon but also on their website. Their mission is to save marine life. They are a sustainable company and also donate part of their proceeds.
Towel Clips
Okay now — how many of you have been sitting on your beach chair and the wind keeps whipping the towel over your shoulder? So annoying, right? The thing is, you won’t even care what the chair clips look like, if they just keep the darn towel out of your face every 10 seconds! Make sure you pack a few of these. They even have them at the Dollar Store.
Table in a Bag
I don’t actually have a short beach table in a bag, but I went to the beach with some friends who did. It really is as wonderful as it looks. I’m going to have to have a talk with her though, because she didn’t bring cushions or ceramic plates! We did pull our beach chairs right up to it and it worked perfectly. You can find a similar one on walmart.com.
Scout Bag
You need a bag right? Scout bags are my favorite. I use them for the beach, pool and boat. They are easy to just throw everything into and go. I have one for towels and one for snacks. They have such fun colors and patterns. You can find them around town at local shops like Palmetto Moon and also here. PS- They make a great gift.
Beach Wagon
Last but not least…you need something to put all this stuff in so you can haul it down to your perfect beach spot that’s waiting for you about 1 mile from your car! We decided to splurge on one of these a few years ago, and it’s one of those things that you can’t imagine life without it. You may end up using it around the garage for other stuff, but I won’t tell!
