If you’re a frequent traveler, leaving live plants alone to fend for themselves may not be a good idea. Unless you have someone to check your home and to water and feed your plants in your absence, having live plants is probably not a good idea.

There are so many exciting events happening all week in Bluffton to celebrate the 17th annual Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. Truth be told, I haven't made this yet, but it's on my "have-to make" list. This recipe was passed along to me by a friend, and it looks so delicious. Anything with naan bread is a yes for me!

Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced or grated
    • 2 inches fresh ginger, grated
    • 1 tablespoon garam masala
    • 2 teaspoons yellow curry powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
    • kosher salt and black pepper
    • 2 cans (14 ounce) chickpeas, drained
    • 1 can (14 ounce) full fat coconut milk
    • 1 cup canned pumpkin
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 2 tablespoons salted butter (coconut oil if vegan)
