Dove Street Festival of Light 30th Anniversary

The Dove Street Festival of Lights®, an Island holiday tradition for 30 years, has returned to its original, neighborly location in North Forest Beach! A gift to our community by the Dove Street Neighbors, visitors from across the region will once again be able to experience the magic of the cascading and tastefully tacky display, illuminating our Island for the month of December. Drive down Dove Street to experience the magic of the holidays. (Walking is allowed, but there is no parking available on Dove Street.)

Wreaths Across America - Beaufort

Did you know that this National program takes place locally? This Saturday, December 18th at the Beaufort National Cemetery volunteers will honor our Veterans by placing wreaths on their gravesites. This is a great tradition that happens annually all over the country. It is an amazing and moving experience. They will have a ceremony prior to the wreath laying and large trucks come in with the wreaths on them.

Looking for all things Halloween this weekend? Head over to Martin Family Park in Historic Bluffton Saturday from 4-9PM. There will be trick or treating for the kids at each vendor booth and a movie in the park starting at 7PM. Wear your costumes and bring your blankets and lawn chairs.
