One hundred women.
One hundred dollars.
One local charity.
That’s it.
And yet, that simplicity has turned into something truly meaningful here in Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry.
On March 24, we’re gathering again—this time at British Open Pub—and if you’ve ever been curious about what we do, this is your moment to come see it for yourself.
What Is 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry?
At its core, 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry is about making a real, immediate impact—without overcomplicating the process.
We meet a few times a year.
We hear from local nonprofits.
We vote.
And we give.
100 women x $100 = $10,000 (or more) donated directly to a local organization.
No middle layers. No drawn-out timelines. Just direct, meaningful giving that stays right here in our community.
And I’ll tell you from experience—it feels really good.

For Our Members — Who Should We Support Next?
If you’re already part of this group (and thank you—you’re the reason this works), now is a great time to start thinking about nominations for our next charity.
We are always looking for local organizations that:
-
Are making a real difference
-
Have a clear, immediate need
-
Can benefit from a $10,000+ infusion of support
If something—or someone—has been on your heart, this is your opportunity to bring it forward.
Why This Group Works (And Why It’s Growing)
I think what surprises people most is how easy this is.
There are no committees to sit on.
No long-term commitments.
No complicated structures.
Just a group of women who care—and who show up.
And over time, something else happens too…
You start to feel more connected to this community.
More aware of what’s needed.
More invested in the place we all call home.
That’s the part you can’t really explain—you have to feel it.
A Personal Note from Allison Cobb
I’ll be honest—when Natalie and I first talked about starting this, I don’t think either of us fully realized what it would become.
We just knew we wanted something that felt easy, meaningful, and local. Something that didn’t require a huge time commitment but still made a real difference.
What I love most now isn’t just the impact (although $10,000 at a time is pretty incredible)… it’s the room itself. The conversations. The connections. The energy.
There’s something really special about being surrounded by women who care—and who take action.
If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to get more involved locally, but I don’t know where to start,” this is a really good place to begin.
