Have you heard about the newest fresh food gourmet markets to come to both Hilton Head and Bluffton? We've visited them both and they both have delicious foods and their presentation is grand.

First to open, not even 2 weeks ago, is Lowcountry Fresh in Bluffton. Just upon driving up to the beautiful new building off of Buckwalter you get excited. It looks as fresh, clean, and gigantic as it is when you walk in. The big front porch is incredibly inviting.

What I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is that all of their food is locally grown and made. They are supporting local farmers and fishermen. The produce is stunning, and as I entered the building I could smell the local peaches that were waiting for me to buy! The cheese selection is killer, and the baked goods looked amazing. The staff were super friendly also.

Whether you're looking for something to make, something already made to eat on the go, a quick coffee, or just want to browse around with a glass of wine, they've got your back. Check it out.

Next up is Nantucket's Meat & Fish Market located in the Tanger Outlets in the old Nike store. They just opened on Monday morning. While all their food is not locally farmed, their meats and fish are fresh. This market also, is beautiful. It's definitely worth every minute to walk through and buy a few things to try. The standout detail of this store is the meat counter at the back. Gorgeous! Lots of variety.

You can easily pick up something to make for dinner or pre-made. I tried a sushi roll, and it was fresh and really good.

While I found both places a little pricey, however I will ABSOLUTELY go back. I like supporting local growers at Lowcountry Fresh and I like the convenience of Nantucket's Market when going on or off island for something quick (especially since it's a grocery dead zone there). We love the island of Nantucket, MA too, so to have something so close to our heart right here on Hilton Head Island is extra special.
