Pizza, Purpose & Powerful Women – 100 Women Giving Back March Recap

PizzaPurpose, and Powerful Women: Our March Meet-Up Recap ????✨

Let’s talk about last night. Because wow. The room was filled with laughter, stories, and a whole lot of heart as 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry gathered for our March meeting—this time at the always-amazing Ralphie’s Pizza and Eatery. First things first: Ralphie’s, you were incredible. Your team was so generous to host us, the service was top-notch, and let’s be honest… that pizzaChef’s kiss. We’re still dreaming about it.

Giving Back Just Got Tastier.
As always, the purpose behind our gathering is what fuels us—and this month, we’re beyond honored to support the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes. This incredible organization works tirelessly to assist our region’s wounded veterans through local outreach, funding support services, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who’ve served.

A huge thank you to Jill Freedman, one of our amazing members, for nominating such a worthy cause!

Who Are We?
If you’re new here or just curious, 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry is a fast-growing group of dynamic, community-minded women who gather just six times a year for a simple, powerful purpose: to raise money for local charities in the Lowcountry. There’s no pressure, no long-term commitment, no frills—just good people, great food, and a whole lot of giving back. The magic is in the simplicity.

Each meeting, members nominate local nonprofit organizations, we learn a bit about each, and then we vote. The chosen charity receives a collective donation from the group. Just like that.

From Small Idea to Big Impact.
This all started as a little spark of an idea between two powerhouse Lowcountry Realtors—Allison Cobb and Natalie Burnside. What began as a “what if?” has now grown into something far bigger than either imagined. To date, we’ve donated nearly $90,000 to local charities—and counting!

We’re building more than just a donor list—we’re building community. We’re connecting with like-minded women, discovering the organizations doing the hard, important work in our area, and giving them the boost they need to keep going.

Next Stop: May 20th. Mark Your Calendar!
Our next meeting is scheduled for May 20th, and while we’re still locking down the location (stay tuned!), go ahead and save the date. It’s going to be another night of fun, connection, and contribution—and we’d love to see some new faces.

Got a Venue in Mind?
We’re always on the lookout for generous local spots like Ralphie’s to host our events. Know a restaurant or space that would love to be part of the magic? Let us know!

Ready to Join Us? No Pressure.
If you're feeling inspired, curious, or just want to meet some amazing women doing amazing things, come check us out. No obligation. If it feels good, it’s probably the right thing to do.

And hey—nominate, nominate, nominate! There are so many deserving local organizations quietly doing the work, and we want to help them shine. Let’s keep the good going.

Want to help steer the ship?
Allison and Natalie are loving every minute of planning these six events a year—but if you'd like to be more involved, we'd love to have you on the steering committee. It truly takes a village, and yours is a voice we’d love to hear.

Questions? Ideas? Nominations? Reach out anytime—we’re here for it all.

Let’s keep showing the Lowcountry what 100 women (and a little pizza) can do.
