So I'm a little obsessed with "grazing tables." Have you heard of them? If you google it or look it up on Pinterest, you will find so many ideas. It's like a charcuterie board on steroids. The trick is to have lots...and I mean lots...of options. Putting all your platters at different heights really makes it inviting. Try out a Thanksgiving grazing table this holiday. Whether it's for your guests to nibble on before you serve turkey or if you're having guests over on the weekend, it will surely be a hit.

This recipe comes from one of my "go-to" recipe websites. Everything I've made of hers has been delicious and turned out great. I'm going to make this one for Thanksgiving this year. I like that you can make it ahead of time. 

Souffle:

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 cups mashed sweet potato (canned or bake 2-3 medium sweet potatoes)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

 

Topping:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  1. Coat a 2- quart baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.
