Another unforgettable night of giving back in the Lowcountry—and a night that made history!
Our May gathering of 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry was filled with laughter, connection, and purpose. Thanks to your generosity, we officially tipped the scales: we’ve now donated over $100,000 to local Lowcountry nonprofits. That’s $100K of real, tangible impact—supporting children, families, seniors, students, and neighbors in need. This milestone is proof that when women come together with intention, incredible things happen.
A huge thank you to Chow Daddy’s Bluffton for hosting us in their welcoming outdoor space. The fans kept us cool, the drinks kept us refreshed, and the mission kept us focused. A special shoutout goes to Ginger Kennedy, one of our own amazing members, for securing the venue and helping make the night such a success!
Congratulations to Island Rec’s Challenge Camp, our selected recipient this month!
Challenge Camp is a heartwarming summer program operated by the Island Recreation Center on Hilton Head Island. Designed specifically for children with disabilities, this 7-week camp provides an inclusive and enriching experience—complete with arts and crafts, swimming, music, dance, and even weekly field trips. Every camper is paired one-on-one or one-on-two with trained staff, ensuring each child is supported, engaged, and set up to thrive. Families across the island rely on Challenge Camp not just for summer care, but for the confidence, joy, and growth it brings their children.
Programs like these are what make our community strong. We are honored to support the incredible work Challenge Camp does every summer—and to help them continue providing access and opportunity for all children, regardless of ability.
Of course, we’d be remiss not to recognize the other amazing nominations from this month’s meeting:
-
Osprey Village, helping adults with developmental disabilities live independent and empowered lives
-
USCB Student Emergency Fund, offering critical assistance to students facing unexpected hardships
We say it every time, but it’s always true: there is no shortage of need—and no shortage of heart—in the Lowcountry.
Thank you to every member who showed up, gave, and connected with purpose. We’re inching ever closer to our goal of 100 members strong. If you’ve been thinking about joining or bringing a friend along next time—now’s the time!
Save the Date:
Our next event is a special Wednesday night—July 23rd—so mark your calendars! It’s going to be another powerful evening filled with generosity, fun, and the magic of women coming together for good.
