This book was named a 2018 best business book pick by Fast Company and Wired UK. The author, Beth Comstock, is the head of marketing and innovation at GE. She was also the first woman to hold Vice Chair at GE.

This book is for all those looking to spearhead change in their companies and careers. One of the best tips to follow for personal, career, and/or spiritual growth is to read something to expand yourself 20 minutes a day. I thought this would be a good book to add to your arsenal. What is Going on with Real Estate in the Lowcountry

Here we are in the middle of January with some very chilly weather headed from our northern friends, including the (11) states that continuously support our second home buyers in the Lowcountry. Keep in mind that approximately 45% of our buyers come from Ohio and Pennsylvania, which both have an improving primary real estate market. 

We are hoping that the bad weather and a very optimistic economic forecast will allow those northerners, now capable of selling other properties, to join us this year as we are expecting a large contingent of “sno-birds.” A “sno-bird” is a family looking to buy a second home or a primary residence in the south. It’s healthy, low fat, low carb, Paleo and Whole30 compliant. I usually double it and do one batch with steak (although you don’t cook the steak as long) and the other with chicken. I bought a Nordicware sheet pan at Walmart, and I can cook both batches on one. It’s gigantic!

An easy and family friendly one pan dinner!  Top a salad, fill a tortilla or wrap it up in a lettuce or bread wrap!

What an exciting time! We are rolling into a new decade. A fresh start. So much seems to have wrapped up for so many people.
