I confess, I spent way too long researching and looking at pictures of different things I could do to update my kitchen after I read this article. So I thought maybe you would be interested too in some easy updates that aren’t a lot of work. Right now I’m waffling between new cabinet hardware and organizing containers. Organizing doesn’t seem to be in the cards for me though!! Maybe a new faucet?

Your CRM is the hub of your client operation. If you use it properly, your CRM tracks every client interaction, helps you identify lead opportunities, and gives you the tools to manage your lead funnel so that the most important clients get the attention they need at the time they need it.

A CRM’s effectiveness is extremely effective when your clients’ profiles are filled out with as much information as possible. A name, phone number, and email address are great, but imagine the sort of personalized, timely communication you could plan for your clients if you had birthdays, anniversaries, and closing dates?

Go through each of your contacts one by one, find and fill in as much information as you can. You will be so happy you did it later.

5 Ghost Pony Road is under contract, and these new homeowners are going to be in heaven. What an amazing house. I can’t decide if I think they will love the theatre room or the sprawling land around them more. One thing is for sure, they are going to enjoy Rose Hill more than they know. Just driving through the winding roads filled with nature and horses is relaxing.

So I asked myself, “Allison, what do people want to see right now?” And what came to my mind was that you want to see things that are beautiful and that make you feel good. That led me driving to Beaufort and taking photos from my car. No one called the police on me — so that’s a win! I hope this jogs your memory of where we live and the beauty of it all. Enjoy!

The stigma that has been historically associated with a home's "days on market," as it relates to home sales is soon to be a thing of the past.

The real estate market is definitely not operating in a traditional manner during the coronavirus pandemic but real estate professionals have been working behind the scenes to ensure that the industry remains a safe haven amidst an upside-down world.

There are still an incredibly large amount of unknowns out there but we are doing our best to operate after the shocking developments that came in March.

For people who have been considering selling, it might not be necessary to wait. One benefit of Americans being home all day is that they are online all day long. ALL DAY.

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time you know that the real estate business is not really about selling houses. It’s about building and maintaining relationships. Of course, we facilitate the buying and selling of houses, but without the human interaction, none of that can happen.

I read this recently and I think it’s a great idea. I’m going to call it the 5 - 5 - 5 -5 rule. I know it’s a little wordy but stay with me!

Make 5 calls, send 5 emails, send 5 texts, and mail 5 thank you cards each day.

Set aside some time to make five phone calls every day. These can be clients, friends, family members, ANYONE. Talk to them about what’s going on in their lives, tell them about your new normal, and of course, chat about the real estate…
