Giving Back with Heart: A September Evening with 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry

By Allison Cobb, The Cobb Group | Brokered by eXp Luxury Realty

Our September meeting of 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry brought together warmth, generosity, and a strong sense of purpose. Hosted at the always-welcoming Carlito’s Restaurant on Hilton Head Island, the evening included meaningful conversation, shared support for an important cause, and some seriously outstanding arroz con pollo (the best I’ve ever had, hands down).

This month, we proudly selected the Blessing Box Project Bluffton—now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—as our featured charity. Their simple, effective, and community-centered mission resonated deeply with our group. And…

July Spotlight for 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry

By Allison Cobb, The Cobb Group | Brokered by eXp Luxury Realty

At our July meeting of 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry, we were honored to support a foundation that is as powerful as it is personal—Jillian’s Love Lives On. Created to honor the life of Jillian Angner, this organization stands as a voice for those impacted by violence and a beacon of hope for families walking through unimaginable grief.

A Legacy of Love and Protection

Jillian’s Love Lives On was born from tragedy. In 2023, at just 25 years old, Jillian Angner was murdered by a former boyfriend. A radiant soul with a bright future, Jillian’s life was taken in an act of violence that shocked and devastated her…

Another unforgettable night of giving back in the Lowcountry—and a night that made history!

Our May gathering of 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry was filled with laughter, connection, and purpose. Thanks to your generosity, we officially tipped the scales: we’ve now donated over $100,000 to local Lowcountry nonprofits. That’s $100K of real, tangible impact—supporting children, families, seniors, students, and neighbors in need. This milestone is proof that when women come together with intention, incredible things happen.

A huge thank you to Chow Daddy’s Bluffton for hosting us in their welcoming outdoor space. The fans kept us cool, the drinks kept us refreshed, and the mission kept us focused. A special shoutout goes to

Our next 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry gathering is happening Tuesday, May 20th at 6PM, and this one’s going to be a little different—in the best possible way! We’re taking over the entire front patio at Chow Daddy’s Bluffton, and yes, they’ve got fans on standby in case the weather turns sultry (because it is May in the Lowcountry, after all).

Before we get into the fun part, we’ve got some important logistics to share, so keep reading and help us keep things smooth for everyone.

DINNER & DRINKS—HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Since we’re a large group, Chow Daddy’s is asking for one check—that means everyone must Venmo in advance. No separate tabs this time!

Pizza, Purpose, and Powerful Women: Our March Meet-Up Recap

Let’s talk about last night. Because wow. The room was filled with laughter, stories, and a whole lot of heart as 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry gathered for our March meeting—this time at the always-amazing Ralphie’s Pizza and Eatery. First things first: Ralphie’s, you were incredible. Your team was so generous to host us, the service was top-notch, and let’s be honest… that pizza? Chef’s kiss. We’re still dreaming about it.

Giving Back Just Got Tastier.
As always, the purpose behind our gathering is what fuels us—and this month, we’re beyond honored to support the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes. This incredible organization works tirelessly to assist our…

Founded by Allison Cobb and Natalie Burnside, 100 Women Giving Back to the Lowcountry is much more than just a fundraising organization; it’s a community of compassionate, dedicated women making a significant impact on the lives of countless residents across the Lowcountry. Allison and Natalie, both successful Realtors with The Cobb Group, saw an opportunity to bring women together for a greater purpose: giving back to local charities that matter.

Since its inception, the organization has raised substantial funds for a wide variety of causes, from child welfare and family support to veteran assistance and cancer research. It’s a fun, efficient way to contribute to the community, allowing members to directly support local charities that are making a…
